On July 4, 1887 Walter T. Brownell and ten guests set sail from New York aboard the SS Devonia bound for Europe. Little did they know, these intrepid travelers were the first roots of a legacy that has serviced more than 75,000 clients throughout the decades. Today, Brownell is the leading upscale travel firm in the Southeast.
In 2004 Brownell bought Sterling Travel in Atlanta gaining entre into the fastest-growing market in the South. Sterling Brownell's innovative Hosting and Mentoring Program are leading the industry in developing top-notch travel consultants.
